“ My favorite sushi restaurant in the Bronx!! Great service and overall best menu. I've been going to this restaurant for over 6 years and it's never failed my sushi cravings. ”
“ Food was really good, we ordered sushi, and rolls, was soo good The waiter was nice, filled up the water whenever was empty Restaurant is pretty big, but was nice, cozy, well ventilated ”
“ How many years have I lived in this area without checking out this spot . This is definitely a hidden gem in the Bronx. They have wide array of Asian cuisine available that is hard to find in the Bronx. I've had some of their speciality sushi that were very unique and it was delicious. I have done delivery and pick up. For pick up as soon as they knew I was there they took care of the order and I was able to leave shortly after. I will definitely be returning and recommend to anyone who likes sushi and Asian cuisine. I've had the alligator roll ”
“ I didn't get to take any pics inside, but it was a really beautiful ambiance. The sushi workers had an open station, and it was more upscale than I had figured. Nice enough to dress up, but cool enough to dress down. Service was attentive but not pushy, and I love that. We had the basic roll specials, and it was mostly good. The crunchy rolls were dry, and that was our only complaint. The Boston roll was phenomenal with smoked salmon and cream cheese. It's possibly the best Boston roll I've ever had. The shrimp tempura roll was fresh, and the eel roll was delectable. We ordered some well marinated and fried wings. Some chicken gyoza steamed with a very good sauce. Overall, we'd go back to try other things. The menu was vast and had options for Chinese food or sushi. They have a special roll deal as well. 2 large, special rolls for $27 and 3 for $37. Regular rolls were 3 for $17. ”
“ Kai took over the New Hawaii Sea in the Bronx. The inside is very nice and the aquarium in the front adds a touch of elegance, and a fun piece for kids. One of the highlights of Kai is its diverse menu of Asian fusion cuisine. Whether you're craving sushi, sashimi, or a traditional Chinese dish, there's something to satisfy everyone. What truly sets this establishment apart is its exceptional service. The staff went above and beyond to ensure that every guest at our table felt welcomed and cared for. ”
“ 1/1 Service; 2/3 Food; 1/1 Value This place probably has the best sushi in Morris Park. I can't speak to the dine in service since I've only done take out here, but the restaurant itself looks really spacious, cozy and accommodating for large groups. The staff is also really nice-- I've had take out from here only a couple times, and they know my name and face despite never dining in. They are always really nice and the food is prepared in a timely manner. The food itself tastes fresh and is overall appetizing. Neither the fried nor the steamed dumplings were that great due to a lack of seasoning. The best appetizers were the spicy rock shrimp and the sushi sandwich, which is probably my favorite dish here! The sushi sandwich is also very filling as an appetizer and well worth the price-- I tend to get this every time I visit. The soft shell crab roll, rainbow rolls, and the shrimp tempura are all wonderful, as are the regular rolls, which although generic, still hit the spot. The shrimp tempura dinner combo is a rather large portion given the price. A small qualm, but I wish they would have fewer pieces of the green plastic grass papers separating the rolls in the takeout trays (it seems rather wasteful for plastic use). I've frequented Kai Sushi Asian Fusion several times, and will patron several times in the future when I want a consistently good sushi meal without breaking the bank or traveling too far away from the neighborhood. ”
“ The service and staff were so awesome. Felt really close knit and intimate seating. The place is huge and cozy at the same time. I got the singapore mei fun. trust me and stick with the entrees. the sushi was subpar and not worth the price or quality however everything else is awesome i'll go back here again i give it a 7/10 the sushi should be dropped from the name but everything else is splendid trust me ”
